Under Viral Rule v. 4.1.2
This is where the heavy revising took place. Now there are no more plot holes. Because there were a lot. It was like Swiss cheese with all the holes! (Sorry for the bad joke) Anyway, here is Under Viral Rule revised.
Synopsis: All the sprites are gone, all the viral binomes have come back to life, but a scientist binome named Professor Albert Einome gets some invention and tries to save Taskbar Towers. He does, then gets some power that enables him to change a binomes processor to viral or back. He takes advantage of this, and goes to the Principle Office, but could there be too many of the virals? Also a tear opens above the P.O. and something falls...
The assistant has told everyone about the sprites being gone, but not about the viral binomes. Everyone is panicking, except for a Zero who's happy Megabyte's gone, but that doesn't help. What also doesn't help is the viral binome who steps through the door. Everyone gasps at how he could still be alive.
"Well, I'm not!" he says, touching both his viral icon and Megabyte's signature icon. He goes over a little transformation, and he turns into a 50's type binome. Everyone gasps, except for a not-so-sure One. He gets out a magnifier and looks carefully. He finds the two viral icons on the arm of the binome.
"So what's this?" he asks.
"Uh..."
Suddenly the Professor jumps up and yells, "I am a scientist!" He grabs his gun and zaps the two viral icons and converts the PIDs. "Zer! Completely non viral!" he says, content. A Vid Window opens to show the cloaked figure.
"Sorry, Professor. You're going to have to get my entire legion!" the figure says, opening another window showing his troops. "Hahahahaha!" The windows went away.
The Professor thought, and got an idea. "Vait! I have ze greatest idea! With the viral information in my gun thing, I can make regular binomes' processor change to viral, or back!" Everyone gasped at this. They cheered, until the door was swung open by a viral binome, knocking the Professor out of the way.
"What's going on in here?" the binome said. "The Cloaked Figure said...there you are!" he said, seeing the Professor. The Professor readied his gun and fired at the binome. Megabytes's icon slowly disappeared, and the regular icon did a 180º and the colors changed from black and green to black and white. "Wow! I feel great!" the binome said.
"Fellow Binomes, we must take action! We must hurry to the P.O.! Come!" the Prof. said. He got on his zipboard and zipped to the P.O. Once there he edited the guns to fire his icon-changing ray. He assigned positions, and started up systems.
"Professor! The army is still stationed in G-Prime, but they could make any move!" the binome in charge of looking over the sectors said.
"Is everyone at their stations? I hope so! Get ready!" the Prof. said.
A Vid Window opened over G-Prime, showing the cloaked figure. "Begin the Principle Office attack!" he said. The troops followed orders and began surrounding the P.O.
Inside the P.O., the binomes were worried. "Professor! They're moving in! Hurry!" the second-in-command binome said.
"Veady ze guns!" the Prof. said. The guns went up and looked for a target. Easier done than said. "Fire!"
The guns started firing at the binomes, hitting a few at a time. The other binomes around them paid no attention to the zapped binomes. They just continued on.
"Sir, they aren't retreating! Put up the shield?" the second-in-command binome said.
"Yes!" the Prof. said. The shields went up, and just then did the viral binomes start firing.
"Sir! They're closing in fast! They'll just walk through the shield, because it's losing power fast!"
"Hmmm... vait! I must go to ze Read-Only Room!" the Prof. said. He hurried there and said the magic words, Yadda Yadda Yadda, and accessed the Viral Erasial Command.
"It's only a matter of micros! Hurry!" the binomes were saying.
Outside, the binomes were on the bridges, but still being zapped.
Back inside, the Prof. was carrying some boxes, telling binomes to put the things inside around the P.O. But other things were happening, like the binomes getting into the P.O., and a tear right above the P.O.
Something fell out of the tear, and headed for the P.O. The tear disappeared. The binomes decided to let the thing in, and when they caught it, they found it was...Glitch! Somehow Bob had managed to get Glitch back to Mainframe! Glitch beeped. On it's small screen it showed a picture of Bob looking like his old self from before the Web, except for the hair.
"Hello. If you are hearing this, Glitch has gotten to you safely. I don't know where we are, or how we got here, but someone-possibly Daemon-has made Glitch un-meld with me. I was instructed to decompile Glitch, but I wouldn't do that to a friend, so I sent it to you. I'm sure Glitch will be a lot of help. Goodbye." Bob disappeared.
"So, what now?" a binome asked.
The Prof. was putting those things around, and finished quickly. He returned to the War Room.
"Sir! They've all been placed." a Zero said.
"Okay...I'm going to get rid of about all my power in order to activate all the eraser commands..." the Prof. said, but was interrupted.
"Um, Professor? Use this." a One said, waving Glitch.
"Oh! Thank you!" The Prof. said. "Glitch, um... Icon Change!" Glitch changed the Prof. Icon into a molecule symbol, making him more powerful. He felt a surge of energy go through him. "Zer! Now for ze binomes!" He went to the panel. "Glitch! Activate Erasers!" With the help of Glitch, not as much energy was taken from the Prof.
Around the P.O. the little things-oval shaped objects with a green square in the middle and 4 antennae sticking out of it-changed their square from green to red, and out from the antennae came the rays of the non-viral gun. They shot every viral binome in the area.
"Zer! The virals are becoming un-viral, for good!" the Prof. said.
Old Man Pearson, in his Data Dump, just grunted and said, "Glad that's over!"
The Cloaked Figure growled at the Professor's work.
Meanwhile, one last viral binome was hanging around G-Prime. "I knew I shoulda stayed behind! Ha-ha!" He was soon zapped. But an eye watched that happen. A green eye with a red pupil...
The Professor decided to go to his lab to celebrate. He went back down to Level 31. When he walked in, a 5 almost ran in to him, and an 8 was mopping a spot on the floor.
"You okay, Professor?" The waiter said.
"Yes. Even better, look at my icon!"
"Wow! That's great!"
The Professor went into his lab, just a Game was loading.
"Great! Now I can test my newest creation!" the Professor said. He got it out, and the Game Cube descended on him.
Didn't that battle scene remind you of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? Next up: Hmm... no name yet, still dealing with the Cloaked Figure.
